VIP style Riviera? This is someone’s photoshop but... damn, I dig it. I wonder if I could find some ebay adjustible coilovers+sleeves that match the OE spring rate? Might screw around with that when I take apart the struts to see what needs replacing.

Mine was light blue with matching interior. This makes me kinda miss it.

I always thought that the big Riv’s were good looking cars. Of course they lack a worthwhile engine, and the suspension is terrible, not to mention the driven wheels are in the wrong place, but there is a certain proportionality and style about this version the Riv that just works.

the fact that it drives the wrong wheels and Buick made “276" HP in 1988 with worse cylinder heads and a turbo on the GNX.

Well they’re supposed to be luxury cars, not sports cars.

In 2016, there are tons of upgrades for it, so my answer is “nothing”. People make crazy high reliable HP with 3800 Series II. They are fun motors now. Way more than the FWD can handle, but that part can’t really be helped.

BMW, MB, Cadillac, Lexus, all have full size luxury cars that are RWD.

what SXT said. get the other non-running cars you have fixed, before you go trying to modifying the only reliable, running, moving, transportationing, daily driver that you gots. get some greenbacks lined up and money ahead first.
car looks cool though.
just prioritize is all.

But for their intended purpose, highway cruising in comfort, none of that matters.
